Hello,

we want to set up a new mail server.

The old mail server should remain accessible.

Can I set up for all users that in the left column of Horde not only
the contents of one server is displayed, but the contents of two
servers (old and new)? This should be done without intervention by the
user.

The only way I can see this working would be to set up the new
server as a "Remote Account" in IMP. For the "without intervention
by the user" part, you would need to write a script to add the
account configuration data to the prefs for each user. The user
would still need to enter his/her password, however, when logging in
to the "new" account.

Thank you, that's an important hint.

I checked with "mysqladmin" in the database how to make such entries
there. However, the existing values of "pref_value" in the
"horde_prefs" table are all of the BLOB type. How can I make new
entries here? Or is that the wrong way?
